In the beginning college ran only two faculties Arts and Commerce. Since the academic year 1986 college has started Science faculty. Initially under Science faculty for F.Y.B.Sc. Students had seven subjects (Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Microbiology & Geography) out of which student had to select any four. In the Academic year 1989 the college started BCS course. Under this course Statistics is compulsory subject in the first year only. Due to increase in the strength of science faculty and student’s demand, the college introduced Statistics as one of the optional subject in place of Geography from Academic year 1990 of F.Y.B.Sc. & S.Y.B.Sc. level.
